The Utah Concealed Carry Permit


Permit course: required for persons 21+ before applying to the State of Utah for a Utah Non-Resident Concealed Carry Permit, valid for concealed pistol carry in multiple states but NOT in NY or NJ.

Pre-requisites: acceptance of your completed application and materials, and criminal and background checks done by the State of Utah. Qualifying questions appear on the permit application. All permit information is available at www.bci.utah.gov

Course Fee: $85 to $120 depending on location & group size

Length of course: 4 hours

6. The UT fee of $65.00 (not needed at the course) to be sent with your UT application
7. NO FIREARMS OR AMMUNITION ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS COURSE

The class focuses on seven key areas, taught in two sections:

Section I - handgun safety, operation, shooting fundamentals, safe handling.
