Fees

Course Fees: UT $100; FL $90; BOTH same day $150
State Permit Fees: UT $65; FL $117 -- not payable to instructor

WHAT TO BRING TO A PISTOL PERMIT CLASS?

Register for all courses in advance on our website and pay fees with paypal or credit card.

1. Driver's license, NYS Pistol Permit.
2. UT course curriculum package as downloaded from our Home Page.
3. Fee in cash if not registered in advance - sorry no credit cards or cheques can be accepted.
4. A pen that writes in BLACK INK
5. UT - NO FIREARMS REQUIRED
6. FL - PROPERLY STORED, TRANSPORTED & UNLOADED FIREARM WITH 20 ROUNDS OF AMMUNITION
7. FL - EYE & EAR PROTECTION

We provide:

1. UT & FL application materials
2. UT Handouts if not brought to class
3. Services of a fingerprinter depending on class size and location.
4. Services of a photographer depending on class size and location.
5. Services of a notary for Florida permits depending on class size and location.

REGISTRATION POLICIES

1. Sorry, no refunds on fees. If you cannot make it, and have paid, we will apply your payment to the same course given by us within 90 days of the course you missed.

2. We assume that you have checked out the details of concealed carry permits and course details on our website and in other places, before attending.

3. We attempt to provide notary, fingerprinting, and photo services as required for the permit where possible, included in the fee. If class sizes are too small, we cannot always provide all services. FL permit class members must get their prints done at a law enforcement office. Sometimes fees may apply for photos, notary or fingerprint services .  

4. You must pre-register for all courses. Sometimes course dates change. Don't be disappointed by just showing up without making sure the course is ON!

5. You must have a NY State Pistol Permit to take the FL course. NO exceptions.

6. The UT class takes about 4 hours. The FL class up to 2 hours. We do not intermix elements of these courses. Be prepared to stay for the whole course (because they are exciting)!

7. For a FL permit we must see you safely handle and discharge a firearm - it's the law. No shortcuts.

8. FL classes at Niagara Gun Range require shooters to pay a $17 + tax range fee directly to the range.

9. NO NYS Pistol Permit is required for the UT class except for courses offered through JJ Guns in Dunkirk/Fredonia.

10. You MUST have a NYS pistol permit to carry concealed in the State of NY - no exceptions. The UT and FL courses are for travel and concealed carry OUTSIDE of NYS. You do not need to register your firearms for these permits.
